At night, she dreams of Tara, and all is well.
The days are full of Kennedy and the Potentials and saving the world, again. Filled with energy and angst and fear and stiff-upper-lipping and being brave. Trying to keep everything together even as it all seems about to fall apart before the First even really gets started.
But at night she dreams of Tara, and all is well.
The days are filled with sorting truth from lies, believing in each other and standing fast when there’s no other thing holding them together but the danger they all face. And sometimes, though she won’t admit it even to herself, Willow wonders if maybe they should just give up, give in, and let things just, finally, be over. But she’s strong, too strong for that, and she forges on.
And at night she dreams of Tara, and all is well.
